EVENTS COORDINATOR
At Hoyne Brewing Company, we are community focused and believe great beer brings people together. From lively events at our brand-new HOUSE OF HOYNE Tap Room and Kitchen, to local sponsorships, markets, events, and more – we are deeply connected to the people and organizations around us. We are looking to add someone to our team who shares our passion for craft beer, creativity, and community-building.
As our Events Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events. This role is equal parts creative and logistical, requiring someone who can bring ideas to life while managing the details that make events run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-house events (e.g. taproom programming, seasonal backyard events, beer launches, etc.)
- Manage Hoyne Brewing Company's participation in off-site events, markets, festivals, and sponsorships
- Proactively seek out sponsorship opportunities for our Pour it Forward charitable program
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, vendors, and local organizations
- Develop event concepts that align with our brand and engage our community
- Handle all event logistics including scheduling, staffing coordination, equipment acquisition, and vendor management
- Research, apply for, and manage necessary permits and licenses
- Ensure compliance with municipal laws, health and safety standards, and liquor regulations
- Collaborate with our marketing and sales team to promote events
- Track event budgets, expenses, and post-event reporting/analysis
- Present at key events to oversee set up, execution, and breakdown
Required Skillset:
- Experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field
- Strong understanding of event logistics, including permits, licensing, and compliance requirements
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and stay calm under pressure
- Passion for craft beer and enthusiasm for community engagement
Hours & Compensation:
- Hours: Full time, Monday–Friday (flexible depending on event schedules)
- Starting at $25-$30/hr based on experience
